With love from flyover country

It's a happy day for me when once again my lipstick decorates the lip of a mug full of hot and fragrant Tim Hortons coffee.
As much as I love that whole Southern thing -- and it's not put-on; I really do love it -- I also like certain things only found above the Sweet Tea Line.
Tim Hortons would be one of those things.
Always Fresh!
TG, Audrey, and I arrived in Northwest Ohio -- TG is a native son -- yesterday to visit with my mother-in-law and assorted other relatives, and to attend the wedding of our nephew.
Justin will wed the lovely Ashlee at two-thirty tomorrow afternoon in Peru, Indiana.
Since my mother-in-law's domicile is not equipped with wireless Internet, during jaunts like these in order to get our online fix, Audrey and I are dependent on snack joints that offer free WiFi.
We've been in the region for twenty-four hours and the good folks at Tim Hortons practically know us by name.
Yesterday evening -- before going to Tim Hortons -- we drove around town for a bit. I'm taking pictures for a specific project and we went here and there for that purpose.
For example: Go right now and look at the corners of your automobile windshield! Chances are if your car is newer, you'll see the word Pilkington in one of its corners.
Here's where that glass was most likely made:
It used to be Libbey-Owens-Ford, known colloquially for decades in these parts as LOF.
So now you know.
Audrey and I have had fun hanging out today. She briefly turned into an alien (see above) and because I am on the ball as an amateur photographer, I got the shot.
The next time I looked, she was again normal. I cannot explain it.
As per usual I am laughing at something she said, and there are hearts dancing about my head.
And now I am due at TG's alma mater for a photo session.
Happy Weekend!

Audrey is just beautiful - and she even looks good as an alien! I've never been to Tim Horton's but my time is coming because one is being built right in my town! So - when you make that trip to visit me some day, you can get your fix.
Have fun at the wedding!
OK, what exactly was in your coffee when you took that first shot of Audrey? Fess up, LOL!
Have a wonderful time.
Glad you are having fun getting pictures for your project. I know it will be beautiful just like the two ladies featured in this post. Stay safe and have a good trip back to Folgers Black Silk country.....................G.

Fun post!

We're back from touring the Gulf, just in time to dodge Isaac. I may need to go on a diet and spend all my time on the treadmill after all the good food we had.
Beautiful inside and out, that is what your family is and I know you are so proud.
