We'll be gone
In these days we're living in
I question how much longer will it be
Till the Father reaches over
To touch his Son on the shoulder
And say, "Jesus, go bring our family home to Me."
Through a glass so dark and dim
And only a few mysteries have we known
But I sense now in my spirit
His returning is upon us
And with a shout and God's trumpet we'll be gone.
Shall hear His voice on that day
As He comes in clouds of glory
To catch us all away
The graves will then burst open
And the dead in Christ will rise
And we which are alive in Jesus
Will be changed in the twinkling of an eye.
