One two

Buckle my shoe. January.
Enough said, my friends.
See that basketful of black-and-white-and-silver ornaments? Erica says it should stay put right through to February first.
And the angel wings -- a gift from my mother -- will remain in place year-round.
Right down -- or, as the case may be, up -- to the Christmas trees, I am still decorated. For the most part.
That's because my North Carolina babies are coming today for a thirty-hour visit, and we have not yet opened our presents to and from them.
They were in Pennsylvania for Christmas. And while there, they all got sick.
Now that they've recovered, we are ready to resume the holidays.
But I think once they've gone back home, that's it for this year.
I mean last year.
Now I am confused.
But!
I would like to thank everyone who sent me a beautiful Christmas card.
And I would like to heap a special variety of exceedingly heartfelt gratitude upon those who did not send me a Christmas letter.
You know who you are.
I have never met a Christmas letter that failed to summon up the most snark-tastic aspects of my personality.
And we don't want to be doing that.
But I digress.
One word of advice: Buy low; sell high.
What I meant to say was: Do yourself a favor and buy a copy of Il Divo's new CD A Musical Affair.
If you fancy tunes from classic Broadway musicals such as Camelot, South Pacific, West Side Story, and anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber, that is.
You are quite welcome.
And with that I bid you adieu for now.

There's been a lot of sickness floating around here too. Laura sent me a message yesterday saying Aaron has a man cold... :( So far our house is safe! Glad your North Carolina family is doing better and I know you'll have wonderful celebrations filled with love and joy!
I love the angels and the black and silver balls - very classy. Of course, the pirate is awesome!
Happy New Year, enjoy your grands, Christmas can be everyday, for me.
