There really is no place like home

Especially when you've been gone from yours for eleven days and ten nights.
That's ten nights separated from my bed. Me no likey.
And that's approximately fifteen hundred miles traveled. By car. Through the Carolinas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan.
And back.
So now I'm home at last but I'm momentarily too tired to even wiggle.
Tell you about my travels later, 'k?
I leave you with this photo of Rambo the camp dog, whose tuckered-out expression perfectly mirrors my own.
Happy Sunday!

Michigan? You were in Michigan? Probably not near me, but I'll be waiting to hear more about your trip!
R-E-S-T! Gather memories. Blog when you're ready.
~♥~
ahhhh, sure hope you are rested by now. Traveling can sure take the starch out of you. And, there's no place like your own bed.
There IS no place like home. See you later.
Glad you got back home safe, I'm betting you have lots of pictures to document your travels.
My first thought was, did you get to see Mari? Can't wait to hear about your trip. Which reminds me, I'll be in NC again at the end of October. Maybe we can finangle something.
@Mari ... yes, but THREE WHOLE HOURS from Allendale! Believe me, I looked it up to check before I even left. I would have let you know if I was going to be any closer. My mother-in-law lives in a suburb of Toledo, Ohio ... very near to the Michigan line. We have many relatives who live in Temperance, Michigan ... and the only time I was actually in Michigan was on Wednesday, when we went to church and then to the home of our niece afterwards for a meal and fellowship! So it wasn't possible to see you this time but I hope next time we can make it happen! By the way it was HOT up there! Wow. I was amazed ... but then, it WAS July!
@Auntie A ... exactly. Rest fiirst!
@Latane ... you are so right. I don't travel all that well! But it was fun nevertheless.
@Irene ... and very limited Internet access, too! I missed visiting your blog but I'll get caught up.
@Debbie ... I only took 1,200! I won't make you look at them all!
@Hobbit ... I wish! It was just too much for this time. I look forward to seeing you again in October!
click yer heels 3X..lol welcome back girly! hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The best part about traveling is going back home, LOL! We are already tired & we just got started!
Hope you got some rest! That was a long trip!

Holy cow....you're not kidding. I'm still trying to recoup. The heat and stupidity today is oppressing. But I love the new look of your blog! It's..uhmm..err... awesome! ; )
