SkyWatch Friday: E.D. 318

I'll tell you how the Sun rose --
A Ribbon at a time --
The Steeples swam in Amethyst --
The news, like Squirrels, ran --
The Hills untied their Bonnets --
The Bobolinks -- begun --
Then I said softly to myself --
"That must have been the Sun"!
But how he set -- I know not --
There seemed a purple stile
That little Yellow boys and girls
Were climbing all the while --
Till when they reached the other side,
A Dominie in Gray --
Put gently up the evening Bars --
And led the flock away --

Dickinson and your photographs seem made for each other. Just beautiful!
I went back (after reading your kind comment) to take another look at your blog, and realized I forgot to mention that we both quoted Emily Dickinson recently. She's at the very end of this post. Is that an example of great-minds-think-alike? :)
Lovely.
Beautiful shots.
I came across your site doing research on (for my own interest) Professor Jennifer Weber from Kansas State. She apparently has no reservations about seeing the U.S. military deployed against U.S. citizens. Not my point however.
You have a very nice blog and based on your reading list , music and photography... I LOVE YOU !!!! Thank you for the few moments reprieve !
