Busking to beat the band
Tourists thronged Savannah's riverfront last Saturday.
There to keep them entertained was this young busker who, though his repertoire was limited to Joy to the World (the Christmas carol) and a second, unrecognizable (at least to us), tune, was raking in the dough.
Long live Capitalism ... all the more beautiful when your capital is yourself.

"Raking in the dough," you say?
Hmmm. Methinks this kid needs a manager. Yes, a manager who takes 20% of his pay for doing very little. (Other than to recommend he throw away those pants/shorts. "Dudes don't wear anything that can be mistaken for Capri pants, kid. Now, give me my 20%...")
@ Kev ... ain't it the truth? He needed your help with his wardrobe AND his program but would you believe? For the 20 or so minutes we stood there waiting for TG to fetch the car, the kid made $20. That's a dollar a minute or $60 per hour ... I don't make that much; do you? And believe me when I say, his playing (bless his heart) was more akin to nails on a blackboard than to actual music ... LOL
Awwww.....isn't he a cutie?!! And plays the violin as well...You KNOW how I feel about Capitalism....Hahahaa....You Bet'Cha!! Hope he made a bundle!
And I LOVE the church photos in your next post!!! I adore all that softness at the edges! Great color!
