The mother lode
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
~Psalm 127:3~

It is what we truly believe -- not what we merely say we believe -- that we impart mysteriously, osmotically, to our children every day of their lives, both while they are in the home and beyond.
Our convictions and our relationships forever inform their convictions and their relationships regardless of whether we -- or they -- like it.
As I enjoy my adult children I often notice mistakes I made. I blame myself and not them.
Like I did -- like everyone does -- they're doing the best they can. I pray they'll make good choices more than I pray they'll be happy.
My children keep my life relevant. They've taught me far more in their young lifespans than I could have taught them in ten lifetimes.
No matter what has happened or may happen, I will always believe I am the most blessed mother who has ever lived.
I am grateful to God for those four precious people who are the only ones in the entire world qualified to call me Mom.
If you're reading this, I thank you and I wish you a joyous Mother's Day.

" ... the most blessed mother that has ever lived." That is such a wonderful statement. I know you are not alone in that thought this Mother's Day
I'm loving your pictures this week. Your kids are all gorgeous!
I just got your comment on the jewelry - I knew you were just teasing the girls. I've done it too! :)
Doing a post on how the jewelry looks now is a good idea though.
I can't begin to tell you how sweet and touching your comments were today on my blog. Yes, we've had many folks tell us that we would have been great parents. LOL, too late now! But we've had furry children in our lives, and hopefully, we have touched the lives of many children, old and young.
You have done a remarkable job raising such polite, respectful, conservative, and Christian children. Your legacy lives on! Happy Mom's Day!
I remember that day well. I lived up by you in NW IN and was on "any day now" status with Elizabeth. Was only months before I met you after that! I remember your little family being just that age. I thought your girls were so old - practically grown! Hope you had a great day.
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Jenny. I loved seeing the pics of your girls, they resemble you so much. Isn't it great how motherhood gives us so many chances to grow? And it seems the process is never-ending!
Hope you had an amazing Mother's Day, Jenny!
