Certain

I never saw a moor,
I never saw the sea;
Yet know I how the heather looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in Heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given.

One of my favourite poems. It's short, for one thing!
What brought that on?
Oh, ha, I commented before the photo showed up. I thought it was out of character for you to do a post w/o a photo!
It's because I was so happy to leave a comment!
@Hobbit ... You must've popped on when I was fiddling with the picture for a few minutes because I'd forgotten to annotate it! So sorry. Nothing brought it on except I was on a longish trip for work on Thursday and TG was driving me and we saw this building and I liked it, so we pulled over. And of course a poem never hurts! Glad to have you back commenting. That no-commnet thing was really weird.
Hooray! I can leave a comment!!!
Marty is sending you wet rabbit kisses...
KNEW you missed us!!! Glad we can comment again...I felt, Lost somehow!
