Here she come

Erica, our third of three daughters and next-to-youngest kid, moved away in 2010 to teach school in the Atlanta area.
Today she's moving back to Columbia, where she plans to make her home.
Among other things, she aims to start a business as a private math tutor.
You may rest assured she didn't get the brains to do that from her mother. I've mastered enough math to calculate -- in my head -- the amount off of an item on clearance.
Erica'll be staying with TG and me until she closes on the purchase of a house. She's already got one picked out.
I guess when your child has a realtor and is about to assume a mortgage, they are well and truly grown up.
As for me, I'm just so happy to have one of my young'uns living in the same town with me. Because now we can hang out whenever we want.
I'd be thrilled if they all lived here -- I think -- but that's not likely to happen so I'll take what I can get.
Welcome home, Little Boo. Mama's got the coffee on.
To each of my cherished readers, I hope you have a special happiness to celebrate today.

Oh BRAVO, I know how you feel. I would love it if my eldest decided to live closer. I miss him VERY much. She's a beauty, has she decided teaching in a school is no longer what she wants to do.
Congratulations to Little Boo! Closing chapters and starting new ones! It's exciting and scary at the same time. She's got a good head on her shoulders and will do great. And it will be awesome to have her close by you.
Yes, my Jenny we are cruising to year 34. It's been as you say, some days are wonderful others not so much. But...
Hey, I used to be a math tutor. Many years ago in my past and single life. I love math, it is so logical and predictable, unlike people!
I am so happy that you will have a collaborator near. Daughters keep us honest.
she is beautiful. i see both of you in her. Blessed. I wish i had mine with me, not on the opposite coast... but still grateful that they are mine. i watched the video of your grand daughters and saw Stephanie. I can NOT believe that i held her in my arms and loved her so much all those years ago. Where has the time gone?
